Question about security forces?

ok people, im about to star college to get the 15 credits that you need with a GED, im Joining the Air Force SF, i wanted to know, if is possible to go to college while you are serving? and how long it could take me to get my Bachelor degree done?. Im getting 15 credits so between the 15 and the 24 that i get at BMT and Tech School, it's almost 40, that is most likely a year, and if the AF is going to pay my whole tuition?

Im 18 but i'll be 19 at the time i get in, im thinking of signing for 6 years, is that a good time? because i know you have to be E-5 at least to get the job that you really want, and if im signing for 6 years i'll be getting in as a E-3.

Im thinking Criminal Justice or Homeland Security, im not thinking on leaving the AF, but i know that will be a good BD for the FBI, CIA, Secret service, etc. so can you tell me about that too? thank you.Question about security forces?
So for a serious answer instead of the first one!

The AF SF career field is a great job. I had the pleasure of doing it for my entire career. Yes you can go to college while serving, but it is not always easy depending upon the job you have and the hours you work. I am not to sure what you mean by the having to be an E-5 to get the job you want. I worked many back office jobs in my career while staring out as an airman.

Also keep in mind most of the college credits you get for BMT and Tech School are elective credits. Once you join you can talk to the education office and they will be able to tell you exactly what you need to get your security degree through the Community College of the Air Force. This would be a BA in Security through the CCAF.

Highly recommend joining as a SF troop, just remember there are deployments, and there are boring parts of the job. But what job doesn't have any boring times! Good luck in whatever it is you decide to do.Question about security forces?
Are you seriously considering joining the military?! You seem to have good goals, which leads me to believe you are an intelligent or atleast driven person. Spare yourself and your life. education is worth nothing if you are dead and we will never stop fighting.
It all depends,

It will take you from 6 to 8 years to earn a BS Degree.

It just depends on your work hours and how much free time, you want to spend taking college class's.

And what exact degree you plan on getting.

I found taking more than 3 class's at a time, (regular college schedule)

Or more than two class's ( accelerated schedule most class's on base are in )

To be to hard to maintain,

You pretty much need a graduate degree to get any Federal law enforcement job today.

So you would still end up having to go to college after leaving the AF.
