Question about Security Forces?

I already asked this question, but im a level one and i just get 3 days, i got some good answers but i want to see if i can get some more, thanks

Ok people, im about to star college to get the 15 credits that you need with a GED, im Joining the Air Force SF, i wanted to know, if is possible to go to college while you are serving? and how long it could take me to get my Bachelor degree done?. Im getting 15 credits so between the 15 and the 24 that i get at BMT and Tech School, it's almost 40, that is most likely a year, and if the AF is going to pay my whole tuition?

Im 18 but i'll be 19 at the time i get in, im thinking of signing for 6 years, is that a good time? because i know you have to be E-5 at least to get the job that you really want, and if im signing for 6 years i'll be getting in as a E-3.

Im thinking Criminal Justice or Homeland Security, im not thinking on leaving the AF, but i know that will be a good BD for the FBI, CIA, Secret service, etc. so can you tell me about that too? thank you.Question about Security Forces?
Yes you can take class's while on active duty,

It will take you about 6 years to get a BS degree, if you work at it.

You cannot just add up credits, each degree requires specific credits for the degree to be awarded.

Just having 120 semester hours of credit, doesn't get you a BS Degree.Question about Security Forces?
U cant be in the USAF and attending college elsewhere
You should be encouraged to pursue your degree. However, don't expect to show up at your first duty station and sign up for classes. It's up to the discretion of your supervisor and you're first priority is your job. You'll be attending the First Term Airmen's Course and being signed up for your 5-level CDC's. That will be your priority. You'll also most likely be pulling 12-hour shifts. Oh, and don't forget about deployments.

When I was on active duty, the SF pukes were always the first to complain about us desk jockeys having too much time to go to school, while they were out on the flightline protecting our great country from tyranny.

If you sign up for 6 years, you should have a decent chance.
