Federal agencies requirements.?

for DEA how does this sound, do u think i can get in?



BA in criminal justice

fluent in spanish

but no previous LE expirience

also my uncle worked for the CIA for 20+ years with a top secret security clearance, but that wouldnt effect me i dont think



think i can get in to the DEA or another FEDERAL agency? DEA 1811 is my dream job, but i mostly wana be a fed, any info would be great thanks.Federal agencies requirements.?

You are not competitive enough without any prior professional or law enforcement work experience. DEA only hires a set amount of 1811s a year (like 400) and receives something like 40,000 applications. Nothing about your resume would catch the eye of a recruiter. Especially that crap about your uncle. Nobody cares and it says nothing about you.



Try the Border Patrol first. No 1. You will get into the federal LE system. No 2. You will get to work on narcotics cases and interdict large loads of narcotics crossing the border. No 3. It will give you the LE experience to get you in the door with the DEA.
