I'm only a Jr. in high school, but I think I already know what I want to do. I have a 4.33 G.P.A., I am 4th in my class (but I should get raised to at least 3rd by next year), and I am starting to take mostly college math, science and english. I know that I want to major in Political Science and to do something with different languages and travel, but I don't really know what I could do.
I was talking to my teacher about this problem, and he said that I should get a job in the CIA with an intelligence office of some kind.
But I want something to do with different countries and different languages. Does anyone know what college I should go to, and what my official ';major'; should be?How do you get a job in the CIA in foreign affairs/ intelligence office?
Go to their website cia.gov
They have tons of jobs listed and they tell you what your degree should be in. Most require a masters degree though. How do you get a job in the CIA in foreign affairs/ intelligence office?
look it up on the CIA's website
If you can't trace how to get the CIA job yourself, then you're not good for it!
you can call their contract number, and get into a special college for training.
I'm pretty sure they find you and offer you a position. You can't just ask for a job in the CIA. They find you from jobs that relate to the CIA. You got to do an amazing job at them though.
There are a lot of majors you can do to create a career in the CIA for yourself. You can major in Computers, or a Foreign Language (Arabic, Farsi and Eastern European languages are particularly valuable), or Criminology. After you graduate, if you can't get into the CIA directly, you can do a term in the military, and build up more skills you can use as a CIA employee.
