What can you tell me about the embassy officials or the CIA who is in charge of analyzing Iran? Where did thier bias come from? How did they get that job not knowing anything about the country? He's not. Iran is an enemy of USA and Israel. Any attempts by Iran to gain WMDs should be squashed. Period. The same way we dealt with Iraq's WMD program. And yes they did have them.
Iran is not quite harmless, you know.

And have you noticed, Presidents who act like they want peace embolden the enemy, and they end up getting us into war and/or other international incidents. Presidents who act like they want war alarm the enemy and keep the peace.

A prime example is Ronald Reagan, routinely called a warmonger in his time, cranking up the war machine, etc. The US didn't get into any war, and in fact he effectively ended the Cold War. I remember how horrible I thought he was, but I guess he knew something I didn't.

I don't think war can be put off forever this time, though. The world is in a rising turmoil that can't be easily stopped. But the big one isn't due for another decade or so.
