I love comedy and music. In the future I have ambitions of writing Comedy screenplays, maybe doing stand-up, and most importantly writing music. However, I also have a strong interest in Language and Linguistics. I want a job stationed overseas working for the government, hopefully the CIA. You know, wear a suit to work.
However, I'm worried about something. I'm worried about getting a career and losing my Humor and love for my hobbies. I want to have a job working with Languages, as Linguistics is my Major, but I don't want to forget how to, well, be myself.
Has this happened to anyone who now has a steady Career? Does this happen? If you have a steady Career, how much time do you take for leisure? Thanks.Losing Humor/Hobbies once you have a job...?
If you enjoy what you do. You will be yourself. Bring your personality to your job. Just know when to tone it down etc.
Set time aside for other things not just work.
ie . seeing friends etc
