Honestly, I am absolutely fascinated by the CIA here in America. I agree with the things that they do in order to keep America safe. I am interested in becoming a clandestine agent for the CIA. What should I do to make sure that I get a job as a clandestine agent (the person who actually goes to other countries)? How do I get a job in the CIA?
Believe it or not, they advertise, like everyone else. My sister once responded to such an ad and was called in for an interview. She's multi-lingual and had lived abroad in an area where early (1980's) terror cells had been active. I had a feeling they just wanted to know about some of the people she associated with, sort of free intelligence. Didn't get the job, but the process was fascinating.
FBI may be easier in some respects, but they do like their agents to have law degrees or extensive, specific experience in things like computer forensics. How do I get a job in the CIA?
You suffer from a misconception--the CIA is forbidden by law from operations in this country. The FBI would make more sense, at least if you're Irish. Stop romancing about these mostly boring jobs.
well , I wish I could tell you . but my guess is that you probably will need to start at the bottom , becoming a cop or something and make your way up to detective and so on , and from there use connections that you may make .
Its not like in the movies. Most of the CIA's job is analyzing the information and presenting it in a manor people understand. n other words.... taking a guess.
Here ya go, the CIA recruitment page and all the needed pre-reqs.

They have a job site, and attend some career fairs. You will need qualification like former military from a needed job, arabic or some kind science degree.
